Has anybody tried to generate processing times histogram?

See this page

I also emailed this link to Montreal office and sent it by a webform, together with the page stating processing times. It seems that some folks in Montreal office as well as on IRCC phone line are also unaware of these facts.
Did they reply to your webform request..? Every time I send them via webform, they send only automatic reply, nothing else. It's quit frustrating, very helpless situation. Re the press ..it's only VBT and CBC news I guess, what else..even though will they help..

We would need to look at completed vs total to claim that most 2022 applicants are finishing in 8 months, since we don't show how many are still in progress, could be a majority. Though there is probably an easy fix.
Did some little to nothing analysis back then few months ago on completed cases, while spreadsheet data is not sufficient enough or not correct as well (not all update it accordingly). Though 2022 cases (only 56 at that time), mostly seemed to be completed in 4-8 months:

Code:
Avg. Processing Time July-Nov:
App Delivered > Oath Ceremony
Min: 22 Days
Avg: 180 Days
Max: 253 Days
Total Cases: 56 (both Online and Paper)
Cases Breakdown:
June (1), July (25), Aug (22), Sep (5), Oct (1), Nov (2)

From 2022 spreadsheet, some additional analysis among different application stages performed few months ago:

Code:
Given that BG is completed prior to the Test Imvite:
====
From July-Dec
BG Completed > Test Invite:
Avg: 18 days
Min: 1 day
Max: 127 (few with huge bump)
====
From July-Nov:
Test Completion > DM
AVG: 30 days
Min: 1 day
Max: 91 (38% cases are above the avg of 30 days)
======
From July-Dec:
DM > Oath Letter Date
AVG: 18 days
Min: 1
Max: 70 days
======

Were all cases completed, or there were uncompleted ones? Do you remember how many?

I dont remember how many were not completed, even today not all completed (definitely huge chunk was uncompleted), I only did analysis on completed ones which were at that time 56 cases, so I did analysis sometimes in Feb, 2023, so imagine at that time only 56 cases were found to be completed in 2022 spreadsheet, for which it took 4-8 months of application processing. Hence sample size is too small.

Well, that means that we might see some unhappy backlogged 2022 applicants in 1-2 years. Probably not as many as 2020 though.

For sure there is a huge chunk of 2022 cases still uncompleted, let alone the spreadsheet data but beyond (myimmitracker, reddit megathread, fb groups etc.), definitely 2022 backlog - as not as in 2020. But isn't it new norm? Makes me no wonder as standard processing time is 22 months as per hush hush numbers and mind the routine vs non-routine cases as well. So yeah here we are! 'Backlog' is one of critical KPIs of IRCC ;)

Do we by any chance know of any other crowdsourced data in a convenient format?
Couldn't find any, otherwise would have shared already. Even the ones I shared are not too significant enough. Well IRCC claims some standard line I dont remember exactly though - most of the applications or 80% of applications are being processed in 6-8 months - I think I can't recall exact but thats the one there too :)

Found this as well, Hon. Minister says @01:35 about 12 months:

Oops, IRCC call agents still repeat 22 months - a universal response to all kind of questions we ask them :p
Well, Montreal call center told MP's assistants it was 24 months in April, when it wasn't 24 for several months already, these guys are really living in the past. In the fall of 2022 they sent me a response to a webform saying that they are prioritizing applications from applicants who don't have covid travel restrictions. Whataver this means, I'll never know. I am fairly sure there we no restrictions for at least a year by then.

So far not, but I just sent these messages a few days ago. I thought I'd add that information just in case there is an untrained gatekeeper there that won't let any webforms with less than 24 months processing time pass to someone who can actually supply useful information.
I never expect anything from them, but at the same time every time I get these long copy pasted responses that contain no answers to my questions, I get very annoyed.
I wish I didn't need to communicate with them anymore, but I guess I should try one last time, before getting a lawyer.

I just got a funny reply saying that they cannot respond because my personal email is somehow attached to numerous individuals. I guess I will have to follow up on that this week.

But I am getting a feeling that they won't do anything without mandamus...
