What happened with you?

I got interview request on April 19 after did test on April 18

I took my test online today and passed the test. i read the instructions wrong i think i messed up. It says you are not supposed to use any “external source of information” and i used my notes confidently thinking i can use them. Do i need to take the test again? Would my test results be invalid because of this silly mistake

My wife completed the citizenship test today and passed. Before the exam, I was fixing the webcam and had the devices manager opened. During the exam, approximately halfway through it, my wife noticed this other window still open and tried to immediately close it prompting a message saying something like "oops looks like you're opening a new tab.." Has anyone had the same experience where they inadvertently opened a different window? I am hoping IRCC is able to get information like which window was being opened so they are able to tell that there was no intention of cheating.

may I asked you what happened with your wife later on because I had the same message however the taps were open is the taps to open the test

Hi there, I had exactly the same problem, what happened to you? Did you pass the test or do you have to retake it?
My camera was working fine but once I started the test the camera kept disconnecting I had to relogin many times I had to complete the test just with 4 minutes left, but I am worried because the camera wasn't showing anything during the test, I passed it. But I dont know what it's going on.

Hi guys, i recently took my test May 19, 2023. And for myself I always get so nervous during the test, I was shaking cuz i wasnt sure about the answers, so what i did I managed to open tabs like 8 times but fast to close it. I got 18/20 but I feel like it will become a invalid cuz it might get suspect cheating. And from what ive read they collect personal information like "browser activity". I feel bad for myself cuz I might not get a citizenship and I wait for a long time to do this but I might failed.

Did you get your test status updated? What happened to your application, I did my test in February 2023 and I have not heard since, customer care say that I need to do retest, they dont know why neither they know when..

I did my test today I got 20/20. I closed every single tab and application. Except I close zoom which I use for work. But it was still running on the background which I wasn't aware of until now. A colleague sent a message mid exam and a pop up appeared in my screen. He was sayin "hello Im logged in if anyone needs help". I didnt clicked on it just internally panicked and kept looking at my exam.
Will this be suspected as cheating?

No. Its ok. Wait for your test to be marked as completed/

No i was not recorded because it gave options to switch to front camera

You may have to retake the test as there is no way for IRCC to confirm you took the test.
