IRCC obviously doesn't process the applications on a "first come first served" basis!

My test was marked as complete on Jan 19, I got LPP just 2-3 days ago! While my partner had her test done 5 days after me (Jan 24), but got LPP over two months ago! and received her passport (also from Vancouver office) in mail too weeks ago!

congrats! I have been following your post and I am glad you got it. I am still waiting on mine (completed test on 10th March), hope to see it moving sometime soon.

Hello fellow applicants! Have any of you tried emailing the Vancouver office (ircc west email address) to see whether they can help you speed up or something? I have to travel but urgently for a family matter (to help out pregnant wife staying outside of Canada). Wonder whether that yield any speed up in the orocessing? (2021 Dec applicant with Test and BG completed and LPP in progress). My PR card is about to expire that’s why the main issue is.

This is just a friendly answer and a personal view with my experience watching and reading this forum for over 9 months along with knowing several real-world friends who applied this or last year (in Vancouver).

There is virtually no way to reach the office directly, or even if you do it will be ignored. I had a work emergency (ended up missing my internal deadline) and once a friendly IRCC telephone agent provided me with the Vancouver office fax # to submit an urgent processing request, but I believe they ignored my fax! However, the urgent processing I requested through the web-form a day after was acknowledged 2 weeks later. My local MP's support was as good as a phone call to IRCC call centre!

I recommend you submit a letter with all supporting documents via the web-form and request urgent processing ASAP but simultaneously explore your alternative options. Set your expectation realistically, even if they approve the request, nothing happens over a week or two or three or four! :)

Has anyone had a entry on their GCMS notes (ICES report requested) what is this and how long does a report take.

That's a bummer you have roughly 100 calendar days until 21 months is up. you should hear something soon. When you call next ask is your application classed as a non routine app.
