I received a message from IRCC, requiring to submit Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an electronic signature.
However, the link given to download is of form eIMM5669 (which as per the forms section is only for refugee protection plan in Canada). What should I do? Although more or less the info required in both the form is the same. Also, I understand that this form should be submitted by all co-applicants. But in the documents submission portal, it only gives upload section under my name and not under my wife's name.

Is there anyway, I can send an email to IRCC to clarify this

You are the main applicant hence all correspondence from IRCC will be on your name.
If you have to upload documents for yourself and your wife, maybe you can append the documents as one set and upload together ?

Does the letter from IRCC state an electronic signature or an original signature ?

There is an IMM5669 - with a original signature too.

The letter states electronic signature. eimm5669 has electronic signature. But imm5669 does not have electronic. Manual signature is required there.

Which one did you end of filling? I've been asked to resubmit IMM5669 (Schedule A) again bearing and original signature and I came across these 2 forms. I understand they illustrate a different purpose albeit with a similar content expect for the one titled 2022 is more user-friendly. I am a bit concerned filling the older form because it has an older date! Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi can you please tell me when did you get update after IMM 5669??

1st request - I submitted eIMM (electronic signature) for myself
2nd request - I submitted eIMM (electronic signature) for my wife
3rd request - I submitted IMM (physical signature) for myself and my wife along with an explanation letter stating all the facts and confusion and date of submission for each request.
Post this, I have not received any further requests.
