Thats Express Entry Checklist and for EE people, they get their personalized checklist. This is nonEE thread and for nonEE people they have generic checklist which has Birth Cert/equivalent proof of non avail mandatory as indicated above by @Muhammad679 .

Not everyone will have Birth Certs , as people apply from different age groups and from different countries. IRCC knows this and that is why they always accept the equivalent documents. If we are NOT submitting equivalent docs also , then that is a diff issue.

Also, the OP is clearly asking what should he do? He has the birth cert in hand and you are telling him NOT mandatory, I wonder what would you do if you are in OPs scenario? Do you say its not mandatory and just skip submitting it while looking at your GCMS?

Same thing for me, I received my GCMS notes and it is same as yours. I have been waiting for my study permit application since 10th March 2023, Only biometrics has updated and review started on 19th March, 2023, there after it has gone dormant. I have raised multiple webforms which are yet to be answered.

Update: Finally I received PPR all of a sudden. So guys, no need to panic, you will get it sooner or later.

I think you are misinterpreting my point here. I am not saying to skip the BC submission when you have it. Anybody who has, it is obvious they will be submitting. However, my point is, it is not Mandatory always and that is what I have been told by my attorney.

ok. i don't know what is ghost update. will have to read old posts to understand better.

Let's hope and pray all of us get PR at the earliest.

What I interpret as Ghost update is when a ghost provides an update.... Just kidding. I think this is when you sign into GCKey and your application status changes from Submitted to Application/Profile Updated and changes back to submitted after you open the application. It could mean one of the statuses like Eligibility changed from we are reviewing to not started or something. - No email is received.

Unfortunately No. you must upload a copy of the medical sheet you are provided with at the doctor’s office. IRCC does not automatically update your medical information without the IME number on your slip.
It’ll save you some time if you get it and upload it

I have a similar question. I didn't upload my old medicals before submitting my application. I figured they would be able to get it through the UCI. The doctor used the eMedical tool to send the results to IRCC. I have the Information Sheet generated from eMedical which contains the IME number. Do you think I should send them this information sheet?
