I worked in a school 6 years ago. Salary was paid in cash and we signed a register while getting salary. No other payslips, paystubs provided. No income tax as the job was in saudi. Now i need that experience to show 3 years. However, the school is not ready to provide me with anything as i left long ago. I dont have even a single proof of salary. They are not providing a copy of that signed register. They are not providing reference letter. I am getting reference letter from ex colleague who will mention that my salary was paid in cash. What are the other ways to convince visa officer?

Is there any proof of that employment e.g. Joining letter, email threads of interviews, etc? Did you deposit that salary to a bank each month?

No income tax as the job was in saudi.
You must on a visa for employment in Saudi. Do you have any document on the employer's sponsorship?

Are you sure that you never filed a tax for this? Foreign income hasn't been tax free from a while (not sure if that's the same case 6 years ago though). Check your inward remittances if you got any. You have to declare a bunch of info during inward remittances and you can potentially show it too.

This is what the rule is:
>The foreign income i.e. income accruing or arising outside India in any financial year is liable to income-tax in that year even if it is not received or brought into India.

Unfortunately there is nothing. How to convince to IRCC?
ah, I see. You don't even have the employment visa? If that's the case, this appears to be not something that should be done through DIY forum help. This goes into territory of defining employment when there's no proof. Perhaps a RCIC or a lawyer or a very experienced member like Legalfalcon can help.
