I used gcmsapply.com multiple times and always received with in 20 to 30 days. And they are really good, charges around $6. I got their reference from here in some other threads.You can order GCMS notes from outside of Canada. You do not have to be in Canada. You just cannot order them from IRCC directly and have to go through one of the websites that provides this service.

Do you know how other PFL users were notified of approval when they were already approved before (my study permit was issued on August 2022 and PFL was January 2023)? I have seen other PFL successes who got PPR or BVL when they convinced the officer, but they received the PFL before ever being approved.Good luck! Hopefully you have a positive answer soon.

To do a quick recap in case you don't remember my case very well, I received a PFL months after my study permit had already been issued, due to allegations that I overstayed in the US. I ordered the GCMS notes (as you suggested me) and they have arrived. Now I have a new concern: the very beginning of the notes says:

App Status: Closed
App Status Reason: Approved

Elegibility: Passed
Final: Approved
This only concerns me since it clearly shows the permit as being approved. Do you think this might mean my case has been treated as closed? PFLs usually come before issuance, but my PFL came after. Many thanks!

I don't know. Your case is very unusual since the PFL came after the study permit had been approved. I think you would be best off speaking with an immigration lawyer. Your situation is very unique.@scylla

Would you suggest also sending an email to my Embassy and letting them know about this issue? Or is that greedy behavior and might not be well received?
