Mine is Vancouver.. I guess its slow as well lol.. well atleast for me it is.. Many who kept their applications in Feb and even March are getting them approved.. Its a bit frustrating at this point honestly..

It is! I know people with far more complicated applications than mine and they were approved within 1.5 months and I’m stuck in background check for 3 months, I don’t have travel history, my partner just went overseas twice and for 20 days max. I wonder if we fell under the longest background check verification - what a bar luck! GCMS notes shows that AUS was cleared and US had delivered their piece in February and it shows as “complete - not reviewed” with validity date of May 2nd. Waiting for CBSA notes (delayed) and CSIS.

Seems like people from October - January are being approved now, but I don’t see them as receiving it from Montreal Office . I just hope we can all get to celebrate soon .

It is May now - you can file GCMS to see if you are in SS. If you aren't in SS, you can expect your portal email soon as your application is going smoothly.

Frustration is usually what makes us human. Hard to control it, but frustration = f(false expectations, genuinely unlucky). Make sure you keep the false expectations low.

There are people from every month's AOR that go through the full service level time though (and beyond for those in SS). Looking at outliers is not a wise game at the end. Most people in March AOR that got PPR/portal are outliers.

File a GCMS to get some assurance. No point in frustrating yourself.

Unless you are SS, that's not correct.
Would the comprehensive check be something that when they first assessed my eligibility a note would be added to that? IRCC’s GCMS says that R10 was okay and recommendation was to pass criminality only. And my eligibility is showing as not started as of March 23 (GCMS requested date).

And have you seen cases where they did comprehensive checks?

Thanks :)

Here's a GCMS note with a comprehensive security screen marked in it - you'll see something like this:

There's no approval email(you don't get approved with PPR or portal). Either there's:
1. PPR letter or RFV
2. Portal email

There are a few applicants who were done with all stages passed and supposedly were sent portal emails by IRCC, when in reality the email never came. You can contact IRCC by phone and ask them about your status. All stages passed is a good sign, this means that you are almost there for PPR/RFV/Portal. Do ask them if your application is approved and how long till you get an email.

Ok thank you. I'm outlander , i have been trying to reach IRCC but keep spending time in the wait queue without result. Do you know average of how long it took similar applicants in my shoes to recieve RFV after COPR generated on tracker, may 7 makes it two months i've been waiting.
