PLEASE HELP - PR application - Do I HAVE to include all my step and half siblings in family information?

In personal history, it asks you to list all family members, including any brothers or sisters. In the drop down there is an option for step/half siblings. I have quite a few and I don't have anything to do with most of them. Obviously they have nothing to do with my application, so do I really need to include them?

I have read that 'family member' means something different for immigration vs sponsorship. But I can't find any new information on this and the questions on my IRCC PR application clearly states 'This includes any parent, any spouse or common-law partner, any child including adult children, and any brothers or sisters.'

(I am applying to immigrate to Canada through Express Entry CEC)

Thanks!

It doesn't matter how their relationship is with you but still they are related to you. You have to mention them truthfully.
