Last time (5 months ago) my PCC was rejected due to address issue which was my mistake and further I re-applied after 6 months. today policeman came for police verification and he was extremely rude and illogically putting issue to my PCC application as he said your address does not have any landmark, however my all the govt. ID proofs has exactly the same address including passport. Later, he took 100rs. and provided me govt. receipt while being so annoyed. But when he rejected my application last time (sane policeman) he didn’t ask for any fees. Can I consider that he will send my PCC further positively?

It happened to a friend of mine too. Unfortunately, the solution was him reaching out to the IAS of the city and suddenly the policeman worked without any issues. If you know anyone, right now would be a good time to call out a favor. It isn't like you are doing something wrong, but with an irresponsible public servant, you need to be extra cautious.

I swear PCC was the last time I'll ever be asked for a bribe in India. I've shared this in numerous other threads on how poor the PCC process really is: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/pcc-india-living-in-uae.795034/#post-10441317

If you have a female partner, let her deal with police. Police can't argue with a female member or question them rudely, they know how easy it is to lose their jobs if there's a complaint. The thing that you can do to better help your application is to read clauses tied to PCC verification and tell the (politely) police when they argue. I'd honestly skip the entire thing, ask them to cut the bullshit (politely) and demand the amount. If the ask for INR 100, give them INR 500. Good riddance and fuck off to this shitty tradition of exploiting people.

I realize that I'm getting salty, but I absolutely hate shit-eating, bribe-demanding public employees in India. I knew my PCC would follow the bribe+arrogance route too, so I had my friend's IAS officer drop a note to the police station in advance. When they called me, I went there, they offered me tea and I came back. They did however asked me for "whatever I will pay to them happily"! Fuck them!

Hence one more reason why we people move to other countries.

I still have no response on my PCC. I am someone who has no such contacts at the police station. I don’t know what to do seriously.

On PSK portal, it still shows that my PCC PV has been granted to and your local police station will do verification at your resident etc. which is the same status from day one.

You can do two things:
1. Go to the police station and talk to the policemen who visited your place. No point in not doing so if you are running late in submission. You need to take this shit one last time and talk to him, make the man feel big and let his ego reach the moon. You are the one who'll lose everything if he fucks up your application here.
2. Visit the RPO and carry your passport, supporting documents and also the acknowledgement you received from the PSK. You can place your query, and they can check if your PCC has reached them from the police station/commissioner's office. If yes, then they will verify your details again, and grant you PCC letter and stamp. Make sure to talk through the issues and urgency of your application. People help. Be reasonable while talking. Again, as I suggested - read everything that's involved in PCC before visiting RPO as you don't want them to see you as another idiot who shows up without knowing anything and is wasting their time.

Have you already received your ITA? How much time do you have to submit your application?
