It seems OCI isn't the equivalent of PR in Canada in terms of rights. It's just a long duration visa that can be cancelled anytime for political reasons. Useful to know for anyone planning to live/work/retire in India and aren't part of the tea club.

Not sure whether it is just few individuals having issue or everyone's problem. It would be good if some more people respond whether they see it as well.

Thanks for checking... My spouse and kid already got their OCI, but if I use their reference number still it doesn't work for me. Not sure whether it is my browser issue. What browser you use?

Could some one please let me know what are the chances to get the OCI before my travel date when I had opted for in person collection from Brampton.
Or shall I wait till Thursday 27th April and apply for E-Visa.
Any advice in this matter is highly appreciated.

You can expect to receive the OCI by the end of the month
