Citizenship details if want to go INDIA after applying.

Hello, I will be eligible for citizenship in October 2023 and I want to know and request if anyone knows that after applying citizenship how much time it takes for the whole process to complete because I have to go to INDIA and than I want to know if during the whole process I have to be present in Canada or what’s the process and processing time is Like varies from person to person or it will be same?
I would really appreciate please if anyone can give me these details. Thank you!

Before the strike it took ~12 months. Timeline varies person to person also it depends on your processing office. Also if Fingerprint is requested that could also delay your application. You can give the test from outside canada but for Oath you have to be in Canada.

So at the time of work permit I did my biometrics which than says valid for 10 years if I am not wrong, and Just like you mention regarding strike so is there any update when this will get over or for how long this strike will go on?
Also, for giving the test outside CANADA , Do I need to do anything separately?

I don't think the work permit biometric works for citizenship application. There is no visibility about when the strike will end.
When you get the test invite, you have to reply back saying you are not in Canada and they will approve you request to take it from Outside Canada.

Okay and after applying the application and received my AOR , than I can go for biometrics?
