Hello,
I have 12 years experience from India. Later, I came to Canada as student and now have work permit. I’m going to apply for PR.

However, for past experience in India, how much should I mention? Because, the experience letter what Canada PR requires, I won’t be able to get from all the 5 companies I worked for. I can get it for last 5 years.

For others, I have the relieving letters, payslips, joining letters. These are not useful I guess.

Can you clarify what is the best thing to do?

You'd need employment letters - but you can attach 3 payslips/paystubs for each letter in the same PDF. You can follow the format - Employment letter 1 followed by payslip 1, 2 and 3 and then repeat for each employer.

You should be able to get the experience letters from all 5 companies. You can either reach out to your HR and get it or ask your old colleagues to help you out. Even if you can't do it, you show the proof that you tried contacting them by submitting emails that you sent to them.
