Hi All,
I'm a new member on this forum and great to be part of this amazing community and platform. I've a question related to travel history for submitting PR application.
I recently received my ITA and while completing the information, I'm asked to provide the travel history.
To provide some background, I moved to US from India in 2015 and then directly moved to Canada in beginning of 2022 on work permit and living here since then. No other travel outside of US before moving to Canada.
My dilemma here is, does my move from US to Canada be listed in Travel History as on-going travel or its not part of travel history because Canada is the country of current residence?
any lead would be helpful if someone has knowledge or have been through similar situation.
Appreciate everyone's response to this in advance.

Thanks a lot for the valuable information @walnorez. A follow up on this..

the question is : Has candidate and if applicable, Candidate's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.(mandatory)

Should I add this information for my stay in US before moving to Canada? or it is considered as my country of residence because I stayed for more than 6 months? (I really appreciate your help on this :))

US is your country of residence, so it shouldn’t be in the list.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Thank you very much for the valuable insights. In this case, my entire travel history would become just one trip out of canada in last year.
As mentioned by @walnorez your time in the U.S. between 2015 and early 2022, goes on the Residential History part of the form(s).
Your Travel History is just that; dates and locations of where you were traveling away from your residential address.

Have you already submitted the FBI IHSR request that you will need, since you spent > 6months in the U.S.?

Hello everyone,
I have a similar question regarding travel history for last 10 years. I moved to Canada in August 2018 from India. At that time (2018) my country of residence was India and I moved to Canada for study. So moving to Canada should be my first travel history. After staying for 2 years I visited USA for Conference multiple times and also visited India as well. Since (2018) Canada is my country of residence, all trips outside Canada should be reported.
Suggestion please

Yes all trips needs to be mentioned. Even for days or a day.

Hi, I am applying for permanent residence as a convention refugee in Canada. I am asked to provide the history of all the trips I have taken from my country of origin(Ghana) or conutry of residence(Canada). The only trip is the one from Ghana to canada with a student visa. I am confused with the information to provide for the parts that ask for end date of trip, length of trip and reason for trip since I am still in canada as a convention refugee and not a student. Or I should just skip the whole travel history part?
