Info sharing is the part of BG and is little different than security/criminality. In info sharing - the CBSA/IRCC checks information from NZ,US,UK,AUS- these 4 countries.
Info sharing does NOT apply to all applicants. Usually, affected applicants are those who have previously applied (whether the visa was approved or not) with any of Canada’s partner countries in the Five Eyes intelligence alliance i.e. Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
I have US history with multiple US Visas. Info Sharing was complete pending review by officer since Nov 2022.Yes, same with me. Have US visa stamped and maybe that's what causing the delay for info-sharing
I don't think the amount of time it takes to get info sharing report from partner countries depends on whether or not you have any Visa before as it's automatic process and file gets added to applicant case file in GCMS. The problem is the concerned officer need to review to mark it complete which is causing more delays.
