Temporary Foreign Worker Program
This program allows employers to hire foreign workers to fill short-term labour and skill shortages when no Canadians are available to do the job. A Labour Market Impact Assessment is needed to hire through this program.

Foreign workers hired as part of this program are referred to as temporary foreign workers. They may get a work permit only after a Labour Market Impact Assessment has concluded that no Canadians are available to do the job.

Received AOR this morning via email.

Does anyone know how long before the online portal gets updated to reflect the AOR?
Also, I am still not able to register to the tracker. Will it require a couple of days before we can register to the tracker?

I could the trend that people are getting test and FP request in 40-45 days or AOR, I am travelling to India for few months after filing, I am wondering is it possible If I can do the FO before hand?, if is this an option

Hello, I have a question. The time I spent in work permit or study permit how should I address it in the online system? Is it gonna Temporary Foreign worker?


** During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status(opens in new tab) before becoming a permanent resident?

In here the only options that come up are Intl Student, Visitor, Temporary Foreign worker & temporary Residence permit holder

Hi, mine was updated 2 days after AOR, but it can take a bit longer sometimes. Give it at least two days and try again.
