april 2022 visitor VISA applicants

Hello. My parents have applied for a visitiing visa last feb 3. Biometrics done last march 9. Now, my dad's application is approved but my mom is still in process. How come there is delay on my mom's application, in fact she is the one who has funds to come to canada. Hoping to hear from all of you. Thanks

during the period, contacted MP and submitted webform several times, replies were "standard" ones, just told it was in progress.
PS: the processing time was shown about 50 days to 30 days, and you can see how long time actually taken for this application.

Yes still waiting here too since april 2022! The only good news is that they started reviewing eligibility on March 10 2023 but no ppr until now.
It s for my mother in law and she has no travel history. They sent us an email saying that we have a message in the portal and when wechecked the PPR was there.
