An update on our applications. I checked ECAS on the 11 March and it showed that our applications were received on the 31st Jan 2023. We received AORs for all 4 applicants (2 adults + 2 Children) on the 13 March 2023. I was able to link our applications on the status tracker this morning and Language skills, Background Verification, Physical Presence and Prohibitions show as 'In Progress'. Not able to make sense of the dates though as the Application History, shows a date of 7 March 2023 - Application filed We have received your application and have begun to process your application, which is earlier than the AOR date.nothing yet. I guess it will be sometime in April .
Most are online. Some are in personHi, is the Oath Ceremony still being conducted online or has it been resumed to in-person event?
Got it, thank you. it is like they did already when there was PR done and since than no leaving Canada since then so not sure. but i understand what you are saying. What is bg? It’s your past. What you did where you lived. Some people information can be verified faster than others some people not. You can not predict how fast or slow yours will be done. It all depends on how quickly your information can be verified.
From what I see on other applicants, if you got your background completed and test invite, you will not be required finger prints, since they are intended to be used for background check itself.Did you also receive the finger print email?
I received it yesterday so probably you will get email soon, cheersNot yet.

Thank you so much for a detailed response. If you haven't received a letter from IRCC to submit fingerprints to clear Criminality check, I am afraid, you can't submit your FP to the RCMP or an agence accrédite. This part of the application (BG check) can't be expedited. The fastest way to find out where you are stuck is to call IRCC to find out which part of your BG is pending (Criminality or Security). Once you call them and they tell you they sent you a letter that you never received, you can ask them to resend... You can also find this out by ordering GCMS notes from CBSA and that should take about 30 days
https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/private-fingerprinting-companies-accredited-by-the-RCMPI got an email for fingerprinting. Does anyone know where to get it done in Brampton or Kitchener? I checked peel regional police and their website says they do not do fingerprinting for non-criminal matters.
These are your options for Kitchener:I got an email for fingerprinting. Does anyone know where to get it done in Brampton or Kitchener? I checked peel regional police and their website says they do not do fingerprinting for non-criminal matters.
