Can I apply for my parents' visa while waiting for my post-graduate work permit?

I'm a recent graduate from a Canadian university and I'm currently waiting for my post-graduate work permit to be processed. In the meantime, I'm wondering if it's possible for me to apply for my parents' visitor visa so they can come and visit me in Canada.

I've done some research and I know that I need to meet the income requirements to sponsor my parents' visit, but I'm not sure if there are any restrictions or limitations if I'm still waiting for my work permit. Has anyone been in a similar situation before? What was your experience like?

You do not need to meet LICO. That is only for supervisas of parents of PRs/citizens. Your parents show their own funds/bank accounts, travel history, ties to home country. You can invite them.
