Hi brb2288,

No, I have not applied for gcms notes.

I have been calling IRCC since second week of January, 2023. I am in touch with the client support centre since then getting weekly updates about my application. Since last week of January 2023, the agent confirmed that it is at Security Check.

Current Status as of last week of February, 2023, it’s at Security Check. Everything is clear and application is at the last stage as per IRCC.

How did you know security check IP since Jan? CBSA notes? did it say screening IP with CBSA?

Hi Takita,

IRCC Client Support told me that my file is at last stage, security check in progress. IRCC also told me that everything else is clear and they don’t need anything. In the new tracker everything is complete except Background Check (In Progress). I have been on this stage since last week of January.

I'm in similar stage. Security started 6 Feb. got latest CBSA notes and it says "Security screening In Progress with CBSA" since 8 Feb.

Tracker status same.BG In Progress, rest all completed.

Did call centre told if it's under screening?

They won’t say if it’s in enhanced screening. It’s very confidential process.

but some posts in this forum in previous years said they see "enhanced" in "Type" in CBSA notes under Security sub activities if it's enhanced. Not sure if it still holds true statement or anything changed.

I guess only way to know if under enhanced screening is if it's crossed 2month mark after security started.

I believe so ! What does your says ? How would we know in CBSA notes that it’s enhanced or not ? I just requested for CBSA Notes. What would be the current normal processing time for Security Check ?
