After seeing your specific case, I’m now more convinced than ever, that it depends on the IMMIGRATION OFFICER that is assigned to your particular case! It boggles my mind as to the lack of accountability!!

It seems that at each stage, they assign an officer a certain number of files, and each officer works at their own pace with very little accountability as to their efficiency and performance!!

For example, if there are 100 files and 5 officers, each officer might be given 20 files, and these files then move “in parallel”. Officer A might finish all 20 files in 2 weeks, whereas Officer C (the lazy one) might have barely gone through 5 files in those same 2 weeks!!

That’s the only possible explanation for why your file got processed so quickly and efficiently, and why your partner’s (and me and others on here), are having their files “sat on” for ages! ….it is extremely infuriating and frustrating!

The simplest application can be.
There is no reason for delay.
Unfortunately, no any updates so far...

My husband had a alost same time line. He applied in oct 2021.
AOR jan 2022
Then loooooong silent....
August background check
september test invite and he completed the test after a week.
October LPP
nov oath invite and he has 7 dec 2022 oath date.


if i see yours is the almost same. They are slow in the start but at the end they will try to complete in the window of 1 year from the date of your AOR. So don't worry. Its just a matter of month or 2 , you will be Canadian.

Same on my partners file - so I guess there is no movement coming!! Still waiting on updates after test passed November 28.

I have BG and test completed on November 28 and there is nothing after that..just dead silence..

Try again in 30 minutes or so. I had the same issue a few days ago and was able to log in after half an hour. It's probably just a slight glitch.

Exactly the same for my partner - nothign since then and I applied for my passport last week with a near identical application.

You can count on 3 month AFTER test passed to get an oath invite. That Oath invite in turn will be for an oath after about 4-6 weeks fron the invite day.
