I totally agree with you!After seeing your specific case, I’m now more convinced than ever, that it depends on the IMMIGRATION OFFICER that is assigned to your particular case! It boggles my mind as to the lack of accountability!!
It seems that at each stage, they assign an officer a certain number of files, and each officer works at their own pace with very little accountability as to their efficiency and performance!!
For example, if there are 100 files and 5 officers, each officer might be given 20 files, and these files then move “in parallel”. Officer A might finish all 20 files in 2 weeks, whereas Officer C (the lazy one) might have barely gone through 5 files in those same 2 weeks!!
That’s the only possible explanation for why your file got processed so quickly and efficiently, and why your partner’s (and me and others on here), are having their files “sat on” for ages! ….it is extremely infuriating and frustrating!
