I have a quick question, I submitted my application on Jan 9th 2023, AOR Jan 24 2023 and nothing after that until March 3rd 2023 when my BG was completed. So, I am curious and worried that I never received any request for finger prints? Is this something normal, does it happen usually and if anyone knows if that happens what will be the next steps.

Not everyone gets the Fingerprint request. Since your BG is already completed..you will probably get a test invitation soon.

Wrote to the Missi office today considering I didn't get a response from the SCR office. They responded saying that application is still being processed, no updates atm.

Hi, all! I have an important journey planned this year in November and I need to have my Canadian passport as soon as possible to surrender my Indian citizenship (which might take a month to process), apply for an Indian visa (which will take another minimum of 35 business days), and buy tickets. Is there any way to request faster processing to IRCC?

Wrote to the Missi office today considering I didn't get a response from the SCR office. They responded saying that application is still being processed, no updates atm.

I called up IRCC today and the agent mentioned that my application has been transferred to the Mississauga office (my test invitation was from the SCR office). He could see no updates on language, prohibitions or physical presence or the oath on his end.

yeah I think Missi office is fast asleep. SCR office moving at a decent pace now (decent = keeping IRCC standards in mind) with April applications (online).
