I submitted online. I think that you are referring as GCKEY? there the status shown is submitted only.
And because I submitted online, there is nothing to be linked right? that we do for paper applications i guess.

Yes you have to check in online account portal/gc key and yes you can at see status tracker too but its too slow. Also dw about submitted status as its change only when they req something or approve the application. Keep checking

I have another question if you can help.

I had received the email about 2 weeks back asking for missing information in 5406, this is what email said:


This refers to your application for sponsorship of a parent or grandparent (PGP) submitted in
2022. A review indicates that the application you submitted does not meet the
requirements for processing as the application is incomplete.
Your application does not meet the requirements for processing as the following item is
missing or incomplete:
<some number> - <Mother name>
 IMM 5406 (for Principal Applicant): The Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
provided was not completed fully. Please provide a current, completed, signed and
dated Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) for the Principal Applicant and all
dependants aged 18 and over, whether accompanying or not. Each individual must
sign their own copy of this form by hand.


But now 2 days back I got email which looks like an AOR which says the following, I wonder if I still need to send information request in above email or they deemed it complete. This is latest email:


This letter confirms that your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class was received
by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the Case Processing Centre in
Mississauga on behalf of the following family member(s):
<Mother name>
Please note that the following documentation will be required for your sponsorship
application to determine whether you meet the minimum necessary income requirements to
sponsor a parent or grandparent. In order to minimize processing delays, if not already included
in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible:
 A completed and signed authorization form – IMM 5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents
and Grandparents Sponsorship providing your Social Insurance Number.

We were asked same 5406 fr my mother too so what you dnt know write not applicable and must write dob for all and date of death of any deceased person. Also make sure you mom signit by pen and then scan it upload it.

If online account dont show place to upload then send webform with new 5406 form And the letter you received at first asking fr 5406.

I think i im because when i searched in gc key it found 1 application but i cant link it since its wanted me to cancely rep.
And in ecas its says not found

Also, the status in the GC key account does not show that biometrics are requested, although there is the biometrics instruction letter in messages. I wonder if it is the same for you?

Hello Everyone,
I also received AOR for application for my parents. The AOR lists name of one parent only who is the Primary Applicant. Name of Dependent is not listed in the AOR. Is it how everyone else has also received the AOR or does anyone have name of both parents listed in AOR?
Can you kindly help with the information.

this is normal, only principal applicants name in AOR. I received mine that way as well.
