Alberta PNP: Is Express Entry profile sufficient, or it needs to be applied for separately?

Hello,

Regarding Alberta PNP, I am getting 2 different inputs from various sources.

1st input: If the Express entry profile is active, then nothing else is to be done for Alberta PNP. Alberta will by default select candidates from the Express Entry profile.

2nd input: Apart from the active Express entry profile, a separate PNP application can also be submitted for Alberta.

After going through all the online resources, I am still confused and unable to decide whether I can submit a separate PNP application or not, in addition to the active Express entry profile.

Please clarify.

1. Nothing unless you have a job offer (tech).
2. There is another stream but you need to be living and working in Alberta.

What is your NOC and CRS score?

51114 - Translators, terminologists and interpreters.
CRS- 348.
TEF- Cleared

So if AINP selects your NOC (your NOC is in demand) and CRS score you will get a nomination. So the last draw selected 100 people with the lowest score of 358. But you do not know what NOCs were selected.

Can’t tell you if NOC is in demand in Alberta but Albert has a focus on tech NOCs. Do a quick google search and the Alberta government posts its in demand NOCs (healthcare, retail, truck etc.).
