I just called ircc no. And check the application with the file no. I received starting with XF00***** from a doc. Request in dec
They confirm the application when i entered this file no. Without x and rest all is in process only background is saying we are processing instead of is in process
So dont know but happy to hear they are wrking on it

My dad is primary applicant and his biometric was done last year. My mother's biometric is not done as she had visa from time there was no biometric requested. My parents are travelling to UK for few months so my mother will not be in India is asked for biometric. Can I get biometric done in advance without any letter for biometric?
Thanks for the response. In my case I sent the required documents to them via direct email they had provided in the letter. I was hoping to get a confirmation email that they have received them.
U need letter to get biometrics however they can give biometrics in uk too
No confirmation fr that email and even if there is it will show in pr portal only

My daughter received the Sponsorship eligibility letter yesterday. However, in the letter the below documentation has been requested, most of which was submitted with the application, with the exception of Medical and PCC.
-Updated residential address
-Immigration Medical Examination (it is mentioned that instructions for the medical will be sent separately).
-Right of Permanent Residence Fee (paid when application was submitted).
-Passport/Travel document (submitted with the application)
-Proof of Relationship (Sponsor and Principal applicant) (submitted with the application)
-Proof of Relationship (Principal applicant and Dependant Spouse) (submitted with the application)
-Biometrics (completed previously for visit visa and valid till 2029).
-Police Certificate
-Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562) since the age of 18 (submitted with the application).
-CV/Resume (submitted with the application)
View above, request to please advise:
(1) If we will get a separate letter for PCC and/or should we proceed and obtain the PCC and send via email?
(2) Is the above a standard generic letter and/or do we need to submit the above documents again?
Would appreciate any insight to this.

1. You don't have to wait for another PCC request, you can apply for PCC and upload it through you GC key account.
2. It is a standard format letter, you only have to submit other documents if they were not originally submitted.

I had applied to sponsor my mother in Dec 2022.
But I have received an email stating that the application is incomplete. It says that the form Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) is not completed fully.
My father passed away so I had filled the form only for my mother, and in the children details I didn't include my details because the form clearly says that fill details for the children who are not Canadian PR or Citizens (I am already a Canadian Citizen). Should I have filled my details too?
Also I didn't fill this form on behalf of my brother (married) or my sister(married), because I though only family members had to fill and children who are not dependency anymore are not considered family. Was this assumption wrong and I should fill the form myself also and ask my siblings also to fill the form and sign?
I would really appreciate if someone can please help with these queries.

If you applied online then you should have access already if not then who applied that should be the rep.

Just fill all the info. And what you dont have put n/a but dont leave empty and i did fill mine too even im citizen too and also we filled my sis. Info too
Basically they want form all filled up no matter what. Also fill your mom bro. Sister info proper like if someone deacsssed fill date place and country ..
Howerver we applied through a representative and they asked as 5406 form too so they told me this
