You need to get a canadian number to call ircc. I downloaded Fongo world app($4.99) and got canadian number in the app and was able to call.

Any friends have experience of family member's background check? I submitted my application with my son as my dependant. The current tracker shows my background verification: in progress(since Jan 2023)
Background verification of my son: not started.
And there is no document request from IRCC.
I am not sure why they have not started the check for my son. Or, does IRCC process the background check one by one(which means they will not start my son's check until mine is finished)?

I got eCoPR, but for my dependent it is still 'Not Started'. Things are completely random, just IRCC stuffs.

Got a GU today and a email that my documents has been received. Few hours later got PPR
No, not yet. Since my BC reflects "We are processing your application which is said to be IP2 and most likely the last update before one receives RFV email, I suppose my application is in the last stage before it gets finalized, provided they don't raise ADR. But its been 125 days since my AOR and they are yet to finalize my application.
130 days since AOR here...still waiting. BG IP since 6 Feb. Rest all passed.

- Our zip code is not showing up under the two way courier service list, and is showing as unserviceable. Does that mean that we need to walk in?
- How long will it take to get the visa stamped if I choose walk in? Is there a possibility get the visa and CoPR on the same day
