Hello everyone,
My wife is added to my application (in post AOR stage -- FSW; we recently got married and I got the reply from IRCC for her doc submissions) . Her birth certificate is in Hindi and her name is not mentioned on the birth certificate (her parents had not made up their mind then and post that it was never updated post that). I have two questions:
--> How do we proceed with the translation? Can someone share the steps with me?
--> How do we deal with her name missing on the birth certificate?

We have multiple other docs like 10th class certificate, passport etc that show the samedate of birth as the one on her birth certificate..

Please help urgently as we are short on time!

For translation, you need to use a certified Translator: I always use https://3ade.in/

for name, visit local Municipality office or local Seva Kendra to get the name added.

Technically, if you are adding spouse post AOR stage, IRCC never asks for birth certificate unless they have asked you.

Thanks a lot @mrpreetsingh, we are in Gurgaon. I will visit the local seva kendra. So we should use the translator after getting the name added on the birth certificate, correct?

Also, when you say 'added'; will they just issue a new one in English?

They can, then you dont need any translation. Cause, nowadays, both Hindi and English languages are being printed

Sir, can you please also help with the following:

I had got my ECA done from WES and my MBA was assessed as a diploma (This is a common occurrence in India as per my research). Now, as I have added my wife and I am filling in form IMM08 again; I am now being asked to fill in my highest level of study. There is no option for Post Graduate Diploma.
THe only probable options are 1) bachelors degree 2) Post graduate degree-not awarded 3) Master's degree
I am confused which one to choose as PGDM in India is considered as Masters but WES did not assess it like that and there is no option to select the technically right option...how do I proceed?

Fill in Masters and for Education Credential Assessment equivalency, fill two or more

@faheem7791 , sorry for posting in this old thread. But I am in the same boat, except my wife's birth certificate is in tamil. Did you get a translation? Or did you get an original english birth certificate? Did IRCC follow up about the birth ceritificate at all, or they just accepted it?

The translation from a certified translator is enough.
