It seems like processing slowed down significantly for people who applied in the last quarter of 2021. However, there are some good news recently, so it's not unlikely we will at least past eligibility soon.
My timeline:
2021 Nov 03: application
2022 Jun 08: processing started
2022 Oct: another document request after CBSA notes
no news since then

Processing started June 2021
Still on criminality check according to IRCC rep I spoke with in December.
I don’t want to link my application because I want my lawyer to still have access . Just for formality.
still waiting for a new update.

Processing started on 08/12/2021
Less complex case on 16/06/2022
Update given on 05/07/2022 (Last date 08/07/2022)
Till now no update.
Yesterday my lawyer said, people who have claimed in 2022 even got the hearing date.
The lawyer has received hearing dates for August/Sept 2023 for his other clients but my name is not there.
I am just praying for a good result.

Sigh…. that’s the best thing to do . Then again , you hear of someone getting approved and one gets a glimpse of hope for a new update.
the constant disappointment is tough .
