I had the same thought, it could be that KL21907 is the black hole of IRCC where they send applications to rot.

Same as my mom, so just wondering if she is also stuck with the same officer, her background check is completed on Aug 10th and nothing else.
have you tried emailing Vancouver office explaining the situation? We did about 2-3 weeks ago we did not hear anything back or any action. I heard people got progress when emailing the local office though.
my GCMS notes as of Dec12.22 say primary office is Sydney Secondary is Vancouver. Located in Vancouver. After a long email to my MP just yesterday they said my application is 'on file' at the vancouver office awaiting action? But take that with a grain of salt, cant trust them until theres actual results.
I'm happy to try emailing the Vancouver office, does anyone have the email handy? I feel like I've tried this already with no result. I even emailed the email found on the citizenship test url saying i haven't received my test yet. THey did respond say i haven't been scheduled for one, go figure.
agreed, how to trust them after taking about 14-15 months and having done nothing.
This is the email address my dad received his communications from, he applied one month after my mom and he is already citizen as of last week.

I totally agree her case is different.
My MP refused again to intervene before the 23 month threshold. For me, there is nothing more I can do and I have decided to wait until next October in hope something might happen. If not I will reevaluate my option then and I might consult an immigration lawyer for this matter.

Gotta hang in there, I've thought about withdrawing and reapplying too. But the thought of these slowpokes taking 6+ months to confirm withdrawal just so i can apply again might not be worth it. What I mean is, I may as well stick out 6 months in limbo in hopes of progress than 6 months of withdrawal process. Thats my logic anyway, if withdrawal took 1 month I wouldve done it already no problem.
Could anyone provide me with the local Montreal office email? I got confirmation that my file was transferred from the Sydney office to Montreal and want to follow up. Nothing since AOR back in feb 2022.
