Hi,

I got my eVisa under Tourist visa category for 5 Years on my Canada Passport without surrendering my Indian Passport.

However, My name in the eVisa starts as Dear Lastname First_name, IS this common or do I need to verify with Indian Office. Usually names tend to appear in LastName Fistname order.

Hi All,

Wanted to understand the difference between eVISA and regular paper visa for India. I know there is significant difference in processing time eVISA takes max of 3 days and regular paper visa takes around 30 days as per the current timelines in BLS-Canada.

Looking at various forums found we need to land in specific Indian airport with eVISA but while filling the online form for regular paper visa it is also asking for port of entry to land, not sure what is the difference then or my understanding is wrong.

Is there anybody who have applied for regular paper visa recently can share their timelines and why you choose paper visa against eVISA.

Hi Abbas, I applied and got a 5 year multiple entry Evisa. Do you know if there is there any limit on the number of times you can enter on a multiple entry evisa? They stamped a visa on my first entry, and there are check boxes for 3 entries on the stamp, and the first entry has been crossed off. This seems to indicate that there are only 2 entries left. Is there any problem in entering more than 3 times with a multiple entry evisa for India? As always appreciate any insight you can provide on this. Thank you!

Only restriction that I know is you can stay a maximum of 180 days within a calendar year. I have not heard of any entry restriction for 1/5 year visa.

I agree with what @forw.jane mentioned above but I'd also suggest you to read through the FAQs in this link https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
Apart from that there should not be any issues imho since you have a multiple entry visa valid for 5 yrs
