Missed a trip in my physical presence table. Now request for supplementary evidence

I submitted my application in February 2022, and took the exam in November 2022. Yesterday, I received an email from IRCC that they require supplementary evidence for my physical presence and need the scan of all passport pages. While doing that, and looking at my application, I learned that I forgot to include a trip from the period I was not a permanent resident. I have way over 365 countable days presence in that time, so it shouldn't affect my eligibility. Does anyone know the odds of my application getting rejected because of this genuine mistake that doesn't impact my eligibility? Should I include a cover letter explaining this was just a genuine mistake?

No, it won't affect your eligibility if the day count is still sufficient.

It will not hurt to include a letter of explanation (and revised form, if you can) that you inadvertently left out this trip. Keep it brief and factual. In your letter you can recalculate the eligibility days.
