If you have a lawyer, then there should be an AOR that the lawyer has received.
If not, I'm sorry to inform you, but there is a possiblity that your lawyer is the problem. If you paid the lawyer and did not get an AOR - then ask your lawyer where the hell it is. (You paid them)
If the answer does not make sense - call IRCC directly. Or have the spouse/sponsor contact IRCC through your MP.
Look - it has happened that dishonest lawyers in some countries take money and do nothing at all, and sometimes even ask for more money.
again repeat: spousal apps are NOT submitted to the country visa offices, but sent to Canada. If your lawyer is saying it was sent to Accra - they are full of **it.
