Notifications of interest issued for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream
On February 2, 2023, we issued targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.

1) Health occupations
Candidates only received an invitation if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 476-489 and work experience in the following national occupational codes (NOC):

• NOC 30010 - Managers in health care
• NOC 31100 - Specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine
• NOC 31101 - Specialists in surgery
• NOC 31102 - General practitioners and family physicians
• NOC 31103 - Veterinarians
• NOC 31110 - Dentists
• NOC 31111 - Optometrists
• NOC 31112 - Audiologists and speech-language pathologists
• NOC 31120 - Pharmacists
• NOC 31121 - Dietitians and nutritionists
• NOC 31201 - Chiropractors
• NOC 31202 - Physiotherapists
• NOC 31203 - Occupational therapists
• NOC 31204 - Kinesiologists and other professional occupations in therapy and assessment
• NOC 31209 - Other professional occupations in health diagnosing and treating
• NOC 31300 - Nursing coordinators and supervisors
• NOC 31301 - Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
• NOC 31302 - Nurse practitioners
• NOC 31303 - Physician assistants, midwives and allied health professionals
• NOC 32100 - Opticians
• NOC 32101 - Licensed practical nurses
• NOC 32102 - Paramedical occupations
• NOC 32103 - Respiratory therapists, clinical perfusionists and cardiopulmonary technologists
• NOC 32104 - Animal health technologists and veterinary technicians
• NOC 32109 - Other technical occupations in therapy and assessment
• NOC 32110 - Denturists
• NOC 32111 - Dental hygienists and dental therapists
• NOC 32112 - Dental technologists and technicians
• NOC 32120 - Medical laboratory technologists
• NOC 32121 - Medical radiation technologists
• NOC 32122 - Medical sonographers
• NOC 32123 - Cardiology technologists and electrophysiological diagnostic technologists
• NOC 32124 - Pharmacy technicians
• NOC 32129 - Other medical technologists and technicians
• NOC 32200 - Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists
• NOC 32201 - Massage therapists
• NOC 32209 - Other practitioners of natural healing
• NOC 33100 - Dental assistants and dental laboratory assistants
• NOC 33101 - Medical laboratory assistants and related technical occupations
• NOC 33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
• NOC 33103 - Pharmacy technical assistants and pharmacy assistants
• NOC 33109 - Other assisting occupations in support of health services

2) Tech occupations
Candidates only received an invitation if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 481-489 and work experience in the following national occupational codes (NOC):

• NOC 20012 - Computer and information systems managers
• NOC 21211 - Data Scientists
• NOC 21223 - Database analysts and data administrators
• NOC 21230 - Computer systems developers and programmers
• NOC 21231 - Software engineers and designers
• NOC 21232 - Software developers and programmers
• NOC 21233 - Web designers
• NOC 21234 - Web developers and programmers
• NOC 21311 - Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)

You may apply to this stream if you received a notification of interest on February 2, 2023. If you received a notification of interest, you don’t need to contact the program.

Not anytime sooner. It may take a while around 2-3 months, even more/less.

OINP's draw cut-off range is directly proportionate to federal draws cut-off. Which is always 1-2 pts lower on the upper side.

Yesterday, OINP held this draw even when they knew, the federal draw was going to happen on the very same day. So, 470 is achievable this year.

I got an Interest Notification from OINP in my Express Entry profile yesterday - I think its part of their human capital draw that happened. I have 45 days to submit the application in the OINP system
I have the below questions

1. My CRS is 481 as of today but my birth day falls this month ( 16th Feb) so i will loose 10 points. So Do i need to submit the application in OINP before my birth day ? Or can i take the full 45 days to submit my application in OINP. Do i need to submit the application in OINP system before my birth day ?
2. I also got 5 additional points in my CRS for my spouse canada work experience. But her 1 year will only complete on 13th March 2023.The express entry system award the full points before you actually complete the one year.

I am in a fix now - I thought i will wait till 14th March and then submit the application in OINP but then i will loose points on age.

Please advise on how should i proceed on this.

1) Age specific points reduction doesn't affect your chances. So, you can file your case with flexibility.

2) In that situation, submit your application once your spouse 1-year experience is completed.

Thanks a lot for the quick response. Is this also documented some where. I googled a lot but didnt find any reference to how they treat such cases

You have just received an invitation to get nominated from the province of Ontario.

An end-to-end application process has to be followed if you wish to get a nomination from OINP.
