ICT Work Permit processing time from UAE

Hello! I'm new to this forum and would like to thank you in advance for your help!

My company has recently submitted an application for an ICT work permit from the UAE Consulate.

Application submission date: 3 July 2022
Biometrics: will be submitting on 12 July 2022
NOC Code: 0015

The attorneys will be requesting for 2 week expedited processing but based on the timelines on IRCC website, it looks like the current processing time is 61 weeks! Is there anyone here with pending applications from UAE or who has managed to get their applications processed and would like to share their timelines?

Also, once an application is submitted at a particular location, is it processed within the same location or transferred to any other visa processing office for it to be expedited given the current delays in UAE?

Hi, I have also applied for work permit on 12 July 2022 and completed bio metrics on 18 July 2022 from Dubai VFS. I am also awaiting for my visa approval. Let me know if we can connect on whatsapp. Thanks.

Yes I got my decision in November 2022 and I have already landed in Canada in December 2022. Normal processing time for skilled visa is around 3 months. My case under 2 weeks processing but due to delay it is processed in 3 months at Edmonton office. I suggest you to join Work permit Whatsapp group for Canada which was really helpful to me. Hope you find this info useful.

My case under 2 weeks processing but due to delay it is processed in 3 months at Edmonton office. I suggest you to join Work permit Whatsapp group for Canada which was really helpful to me. WP processing times are much different if you have GSS. Not usually the 2 weeks that is advertised but much faster than general WPs usually.

6 to 8 months is normal from UAE.. (they took around 32 weeks in one of my recent application).
