I understand that after AOR the next step is Background check Clearance. Any idea within how many months the step of Background check is cleared as per current trend?

I took 20 random numbers for June-July, and calculated the average value - this is 147 days. i.e. 4-5 months.

.. But I also saw a more faster BG check - in 20-30 days, I don't know what it depends on. Maybe on how long/quality the last security check was done, while waiting for the PR.

Interesting... my PR was done 10 years ago....

Did you apply through a representative?
Apparent paper applications are taking 60 days to receive AOR, check the above replies - they were processing week of Nov 8

Thanks. No it was not thorough a representative. I thought paper applications receive AOR in 30 days. The online application is taking longer for one member that applies in March 2022 so applied via paper for the other family member in Dec 2022.

I just got to know that 9th October AOR guy got the Background check cleared on 16th January 2023. So those who got AOR can estimate 3 months (90 to 100 Days) to get the Background check cleared as of current speed.

That is default status for everyone after AOR - does not mean anything.

Getting an AOR means that they have started working on your application. But are they really working on it? I doubt it. Wait until next update
