September 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

Mine changed to "in process" the same day I got the test invite and has a "Next Steps (waiting on you)" block on the top of the page currently with the test windowQuestion to all of those who got test invite, did you see the online tracker going to "processing" from "not started" a few days prior to test invite or it went straight to show the test window? Freaking out waiting for test over herethanks!

Mine has CenMTL and I don't think I've come across that before
test invite. in a week. 2 weeks. 3 weeks. who knows?! my BG was completed on 22Dec, I'm expecting the invite any day now.
Background verification completed on JAN 10th.
BG completed Dec 16 here and waiting for test invite. My understanding is the waiting times for test vary a lot based on whichever office you are assigned to so estimates are all over the place
That’s true, it all depends on the office. Btw, I am also waiting since Dec 16.
I'm in New Brunswick so I guess Montreal was the nearest office *shrug*
I think a curious mind can always ask questions. Can't they? And yes there are some offices that process files faster then other offices. For example Files from smaller cities get processed faster( oh sorry I should say move faster) then bigger cities because of the load they are receiving
My ECAS status changed to In Progress on 9th Jan 2023 and today i got Finger Print request , We are still waiting an email for my spouse to come .
It says in the letter attached to email "After reviewing the biographical information on your application form, there are questions in your case
with regard to sections 21 and/or 22 of the Citizenship Act, explained further on the second page of this letter"
Finger Prints request is it a generic request during Citizenship for all who apply is it something for me specifically as we haven't received anything for my wife yet .
To me it looks like BG check has started for me and they need specifically the finger prints from me .
Please share experiences or awareness around this .

It is quite common to get a fingerprint request. Typically happens when there are multiple people with same or similar names and security needs to be cleared with a fingerprint request.
And within a family application only one may receive but not others if the agent doesn’t feel the need for others in the application.
Take it easy and just submit fingerprints.
Yah thought so , but not all get the fingerprint request to complete BG , Is that right ?
