Take oath if you can manage. Rescheduling for Vancouver office uld be crazy as getting an invite from them has been a tough task for many applicant.UPDATE: I just received an oath date of 25 Jan 2023, at the same time I submitted an OIC complaint for the 30+ day delay in my GCMS notes. It may or may not have been coincidental.
I will be out of the country until 4 March, so I will either need to fly back to Canada for the oath or reschedule. I read in some other blogs that IRCC may take weeks, months, or even years to reschedule your ceremony date. Based on the experience of those of you who did reschedule, what would you recommend?
Admin, please update.

I'm based in Surrey, BC.Congratulations!!
Can you pls share which province you are from?
My case processing office is also Vancouver so far but I am from Mb so assuming the oath email comes from Winnipeg office.
I noticed you had to wait over 5 months for Oath. Do you know if this was the standard wait time for all who applied in the same month as yours?
Me too. I passed test since Mar 2022I'm based in Surrey, BC.
Yes, I had to wait for 5 months for oath but this is not standard wait time for august 2021 applicants. I have noticed that a lot of things depend on BG and test dates as well. I noticed a lot of people who applied in august 2021 got BG/test done way before mine and even got oath dates before me for the same reason. Also, online and paper applications make a big difference. Paper applicants got oath faster than online applicants.
Another thing to note which I read in an article few days ago was that wait time between test to oath can be anywhere between 4-6 months. Those are IRCCs current targets. Although, delays can always happen due to certain applications taking longer to pass through verification process.
I was just trying to burn out the 6 months waiting period and was hoping that I will get the oath invite before January end.
Hope this information helps.
