I apply for trv on Jan 4, yesterday I got an email that there is some update to your application but when I log in to the portal there is no message or update its still says submitted. Is this normal or what cause that email to trigger?

It could be just the letter of confirmation that your application has been submitted. It's only been three days, I don't think you'd get any other type of update in such a short time.

You can expect PPR between 3 - 5 weeks after application submission. I got mine in week 4.

Applied for TRV with Interim Work Authorization (email as I’m eligible for PgWP extension 2022)
Applied on: 15th Nov 2022
Eligibility review : 10th Dec 2022
(I think eligibility was on hold as I got my extension approved on 23rd Dec 2022)
Uploaded new WP: 25th Dec 2022 (webform)
Passport Request: 06th Jan 2023
Passport Sent via CanadaPost: 07th Jan 2023

Wtf! Why did they take so many months to send Ppr?

Idk why they took so much time. My passport was received on 23rd. I’m just wondering if offices were completely shut down due to holidays or were they still processing files? If not I can’t wait for it to be processed in normal processing time. How do I expedite the peocess?

Nope…web form submitted but no reply. No counterfoil generated. tracking number is not active either.

Hi there is no other way to get to them except through the number listed on their website.

You can simply upload the pdf letter for your work permit approval to modify/complete your application for the TRV. I did it and got approval and have received PPR. The IWA alone might not work. I heard people applications are getting cancelled with that. The sooner the better.

Hi do you know any details about the applications that got cancelled with the interim work authorization? I also don't have my pgwp extension yet and I need a trv...
Anyone applied with just the interim authorization and got approved? Did you add any other documents?

I don't have my extension so I only have my interim authorization now. I wonder if they would approve with just that.

Yes. That means SCI (a subsidiary logistic company of Canada Post working for IRCC) received your envelope.
