Have some updates on e-Certificate. I've received the e-certificate on the third day after the oath ceremony. Printed it out and applied for passport at the same day. The clerk who checked document completeness seemed unfamiliar with e-Certificate. Spent some time to explain with her.

This is weird. People who have to accept it, have no idea of its existence

Mine is very similar. I'm also a Winnipeg applicant with Vancouver processing office. I sent my application a week prior to you. My language, prohibition and physical presence completed on Nov 22nd 2022. Also have the update from Dec 16th that did nothing but marked previously completed items as new. Oath not started.

It is a bit relieving if there are many of us waiting so we can hope some update for all of us soon. I saw they have recently updated oath ceremony timeline 4-6 months after everything completed. It used to be 3-4 months earlier.

When I see applicants waiting for over 3-4 years it is very depressing.

Not sure what is taking so long for them to schedule oath after everything is completed

Could be scheduling in-person while maintaining virtual ceremonies is probably causing the delay. I assume for us, they may be sending our applications back to the Winnipeg office for an in-person ceremony.

It looks like some Winnipeg applicants might be going back to an in-person ceremony. An October 2021 Winnipeg applicant had an in-person ceremony Jan. 5.

Do you know if that applicant have Vancouver as their processing office? My test invite came from Vancouver.
