I am the Sponsor living in Canada and my wife (principal applicant) living in our home country. We submited our Outland application on Oct 2022
We have this strange situation that we are really in need of some helps:
Our application was first returned, due to the Class of Application (Section 5-Document checklist 5533) had not been properly identified in the first submission—this was clearly stated in the letter of rejection. For this 1st time, we both received an automated message (sent to applicant)and the letter of rejection (sent to sponsor) on Dec 19, 2022
So it was very clear for us: We then updated our 5533 and provided Rejection Letter and our Letter of Explanation—that elaborated what we updated for the resubmission (2nd submission) on Dec 21, 2022
On Dec 22 2022 (in the next 11 hours), we received another automated message (sent to applicant) notifying updates on our portal. However, as we check our application status, it is currently shown Returned again, and the letter of rejection (supposedly sent to sponsor) is still nowhere to be found up till today.
Since we are very unsure on what should be done next, we submitted a webform to report the case 14 days ago (webform submitted on Dec 24, 2022), but still receive no response so far. Also, the call to IRCC is not working for us since we haven't received AOR with the application number (starting with F…), and couldn't reach out to any available agent every time I tried to call
We are considering we would just go ahead and resubmit the application again, if nothing seems to be in progress… probably with a letter of explanation explaining the situation… but it is the right move tho?
