Update: My oath scheduled for January 31.

It says updated Dec 16 on my account, but I remember checking till 8 pm last night and the update wasn’t there. I think the account actually showed the update either later at night yesterday or this morning. No email yet. My office is Scarborough, AOR was March 06. All other details should be on the tracker, will also provide the timeline here later today.

I see that my citizenship tracker account is updated with a Citizenship Oath ceremony date set for January. I did not receive any email with the date and virtual ceremony link. How long do they usually take to send the email? I checked the spam folder as well, nothing was there. Thank you!

I got an update on Dec 16th that my language, physical presence and prohibitions were marked complete on Dec 12th.
Hoping this is an actual update and not a glitch lol.

Guys, I have my Oath scheduled on Jan 31, 2023. Is there a way I can reschedule it to Jan 30, 2023 or any date before Jan 31? My wife starts her new job from Jan 31 and I want her to be with me during the ceremony.

On what email should I send this request to IRCC? (I know there are 0 chances of IRCC honouring my request, but I still want to give it a shot)

I received fingerprint request from Vancouver Office and Test request from Scarborough Office.

If you delay your oath, there is no guarantee that they will reschedule you in the next available slot. You may have to wait months for the next oath date. I would rather get it over with and not recommend delaying it...

Additionally, if it is an in-person oath, you need to check if it is open to public (because of COVID-19). Only then, you may be able to bring guests in. You may search in-person oaths schedule here:

You can try. The worst thing that can happen is they say no or just don't respond. If it's that important to you that you have your spouse with you on that day then for sure you can make a request.
But fair warning is if they agree to postpone the date, there's no guarantee of getting another time slot soon. So choose wisely

You'll have to wait till you get your oath "Notice to Appear" e-mail (usually a week or so before the oath) and and follow instructions in the e-mail once you receive it

My tracker has been updated back to completed and saw that an update has been added regarding the oath ceremony schedule for Jan 25th.

Seems like after the glitch, a lot of people got the Oath scheduled, maybe it's a good thing after all lol. Congratulations y'all!!! Still waiting for mine, hopefully i can hear it next week
