is your child's timelines similar to yours? I applied online for my kid and received AOR on May 16th and nothing after that, my husband's AOR was May 12th and is scheduled for oath on Sept 9th. Kinda worried about my kid's application

Yes my son. AOR May 12th and nothing afterwards. But he is a minor and is except from the citizenship test, so I am assuming we might not hear anything until the last step

Anyone who is still waiting for background check completion? I submitted my minor kid's application in April 2023, received AOR on May 12, 2023 and no movement so far. Should I contact IRCC or raise a webform (and say what)?

same thing happened to me. not sure when the status was changed to 'in progress' but everything is back to 'in progress' now.
