Based on IRCC timelines, it can take up to 15 months (was up to 6 months before Covid). Though I have seen PPR as soon as 2~4 weeks after biometrics completion (June/July AOR). If we're lucky, PPR by the end of October is a possibility, fingers crossed.
Regarding communication, shouldn't you ask your representative directly?
Yeah GUs seem to have slowed down, but I am seeing select applicants getting their applications processed in a very speedy manner, PPRs happening for Sep/Oct AORs.
Also I should make a correction to my previous update, I thought I received a GU but after cross-checking a few posts, I am really in False IP2, you can refer to this post for post submission stages.

GU: Sep 22, 2022 This is incorrect. This is an email notifying that you have passed the medical exam. The email says "Your application status has changes".
Biometrics: Sep 30, 2022
Current status for BG check is:
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." - This is False IP2
The next GU with email notification is Real IP1 which should change BG status to:
"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
With the holidays coming, I doubt the application can make significant progress. I guess a more realistic expectation is early next year unless some miracle happens. Either way, I'll keep everyone posted on my progress throughout.

Well that post also says that CEC and FSW inland application may miss Real IP1. And if I look at Real IP2 it says the same message which is "We are processing your background check....".
How do you know your status isn't Real IP2?
Well, for one, I am neither CEC nor FSW inland. I am actually PNP outland.
Also, even if I somehow skipped Real IP1, I should still get intermittent GUs (the ones without email notifications, eg: first GU, NA2 or Real IP2). These should at least show an "updated" status in my profile before I click in. I am seeing "Submitted" all this time without updates.

Just learned that there's a huge influx of Uraknian refugee applications, and they are piling up to the already humongous backlog. I don't really mind being deprioritized a bit for those who are more in need of immigration. Anyways, just wanted to share this piece of info for those who are anxiously waiting for application updates.
