Hi, I'm about to renew my PR card and i have started filling the application.
I calculated my total absence and it's less than 1095 days. I'm in Canada right now and as of renewal application date, I have more than 730 days of physical residence per my entry/exit stamps I see in my passport.
However, In the checklist IMM5644, I read second checkbox as
"Proof of residency requirements if you were outside of Canada for 1095 days or more in the past five (5) years. Please refer to Appendix A of the
instruction guide for a list of the documents required."
I believe I should not to check it, as im NOT out of canada for 1095 days or more. In that case, how do I prove I stayed more than 730 days in Canada? should I attach photocopies of all pages of my passport for IRCC to validate?. By the way, I checked consent for CBSA and CRA to share the details to IRCC, so, I do not need to submit any supporting documents to prove my residency requirement? IRCC will request themselves entry records from CBSA to calculate my physical presence?
Please suggest. Thanks
