Hi guys I am new here.

I just got my study permit application approved after being refused twice.
I have never read closely on the requirement of PGWP as I was busy worrying about my study permit applications that was being refused again and again.
Just as I thought the worst is over... and here comes another issue

so my timeline is

december 2021- applied for 1st study permit
winter 2022- full-time (online)
march 2022- 1st study permit refused because i was stupid and didn't attach any sop
june 2022- applied for 2nd study permit after consulting many many people
spring 2022- part-time (online)- there were a few in-person classes and field practicum which i was unable to attend
aug 2022- 2nd study permit refused, I attached so many supporting document but it still failed
fall 2022- defer semester 3 as unable to take any courses due to everything being change to in person and requires requisite
oct 2022- applied for 3rd study permit after hiring a representative
nov 2022- 3rd study permit approved in 14days

the upcoming plans are:
winter 2023- part time (in person) completing pre requisite
spring 2023- part time (in person) completing pre requisite
fall 2023- full time
winter 2023- full time (final semester)

My course lasts two years.

In total I will have 3 part-time semesters and 1 defer or LOA.
I have mailed my school's student advisor and they are able to provide me with any letters that I need. The main reason that I am unable to be on full-time status is that I don't have a valid study permit to go to Canada as it was refused again and again.

If having too many part-time semesters is a problem, what if I take another 8month post graduate course (from another program) for two of them? can I stack courses from another program and be counted as a full-time student? Any suggestions?

I should have looked up everything including pgwp right from the start and I was so happy getting the study permit approved.

You are not eligible for PGWP with your current program. Since it is not eligible, you would need to complete another program but can’t include the initial program as part of your PGWP application. So no you can’t stack it.

Agree with the above. You aren't eligible for a PGWP for the program you are in now due to the part time studies, breaks in your studies and the fact some of your studies were completed when you didnt have a study permit.

To qualify for a PGWP you would need to take a completely different program that is at least eight months and make sure you are full time throughout that program. You would then qualify for a PGWP that is limited to the duration of that second program.
