No list but that tends to be one of the biggest reason. Kidney failure usually progressive, dialysis and transplant are expensive, immigrant population to Canada has high volume of diabetes and CKD (South East Asian communities), etc. so CKD comes up frequently in applications.

we have no overview in relation to what is and isnt when it comes to the stats and im sire that IRCC wont share it with is ,most of it if not all are reviewed 0n a case by case ( my personal opinion and only based on the privacy laws in relation to these matters )

Just on anecdotal reports alone you can see that CKD is a Major reason. The medical only looks at a few major diseases or organs. They look at communicable diseases but in general as long as you receive treatment before coming to Canada or are currently being treated for conditions with no cure you will be approved. Kidney function and cardiac issues are the main other things that medicals focus on.

The fact that one of the things that medical focuses on kidney function does indicate that this is one of the medical issues that IRCC is focusing on and is concerned about. If you want to search Canlii CKD comes up a lot in excessive demand appeals. As always in the end it always come down to each patient and their specific circumstances.

@canuck78 ,lets support this by references then ,that IRCC is using in relation to this subject .analysis ,opinion and pure facts 3 totally different things .and the best way to support what you mentioned in the beginning is an article from IRCC ,what we have now under this subject on IRCC site doesnt mention CKD at all .

The closest thing I'm aware of is what's in the operating manual where there is section on "conditions of significance" and which lists chronic renal disease (among a number of other things). This provides instructions on screening and what level of test results are a concern. However there's nothing here regarding any stats on approval or refusal rates for individuals with these conditions.

Hello everyone,

CIC sent my family a fairness letter stating "excess demand" on Canadian Health System.

Now I understand this topic has been discussed before but I really need your help determining what points would lead to a successful response (acceptance). How many have successfully received their PR after submitting a letter for CKD Stage 4 ?

If you could share some knowledge it would be very helpful. We are submitting the letter tomorrow.
