Right now I've seen that people applying on paper with OWP get the latter within three months or less. It is my impression that if you urgently need an OWP you could benefit from applying on paper. But as I mentioned above, you would need to ensure your paper application is received by IRCC before September 23. Anything received after this date will be returned to you.

You need to apply for a visitor record if your family intends to stay for more than 6 months. Apply for the visitor record before the 6 months are up. If you don't extend, you risk being out of status if for some reason the Sponsorship application is returned.

Hello, i am in this situation.
I applied in inland sponsor + sowp.
My visitor visa will be 6 months in december.
My visa expire 2024.
Will i be on maintained status until decision is made on the sowp?
If yes then i dont need to apply for extension of visitor or record right??? I saw some mentions on it but am not sure.
Please let me know if you do

Did you manage to link your application to your account? To see the progress? I tried to link it to the sponsor IRCC account by UCI and Application Number and to the Principal Applicant account. but didn't manage it's been said that the application is not found. How do you track your process?

Have you been able to link your application using the PR tracker. I am having a similar issue

I might be wrong (correct me here anyone), but I believe you still have to officially withdraw your first application even if you don't have an AOR. But again, I'm not aware of procedure to withdraw an application when there's no AOR!

Yes, just this weekend, and I see other two applicants who applied around the same time did too.

Yeah if I get AOR for the first one I will do it but maybe they will be smart enough to merge both applications

Some people mentioned that they received medical &biometrics request at the same time with the Aor. Just wondering if IRCC SEND request along with AOR OR can be RECEIVE LATER
