My hearing was 2 weeks ago, how much should I wait to receive the notice of decision in mail?
And what steps should I take as soon as I receive it.

Congratulations. You will receive the decision very soon. If your case was under less complex must probably it's positive decision and you can process PR accordingly.

What was your timeline by the way? When did you claimed Asylum and when it was referred to IRB.

I submitted my application in August 2020. Had my interview in March 2021. Received my work permit and brown paper in November 2021. In March 2022 i received the less complex case notice. Submitted the evidence early April. In June 2022 I received a notice that a short hearing is required in September. My hearing was 2 weeks ago.

I submitted my application in August 2020. Had my interview in March 2021. Received my work permit and brown paper in November 2021. In March 2022 i received the less complex case notice. Submitted the evidence early April. In June 2022 I received a notice that a short hearing is required in September. My hearing was 2 weeks ago.

Your short hearing was two hours long?

They only seized my passport in March 2021 Without interview.
i had my interview in November 2021. Then they sent me the work permit.

Why it took so long to receive your work permit and the brown paper?

Yes. Including 2 breaks.

No they did not. I submitted my application online through epost in August 2020. Never heard from them until March 2021 when they asked my to come for the first interview, which they only seized my passport.

Yes. Because of COVID at that time applications were only submitted online. I’m not sure if it’s still the case.
