Another thing I noticed under you citizenship application status, it says Updated: Oct07, 2022. Could that be ghost update? However I didn't receive anything in the email
That's probably an update since we moved to the new tracker. Everyone's status I believe is showing a recent date around that time. Mine is last updated Oct 8, but no work needed on my application.

it's been 10 days since I passed the test, no updates on the tracker. Should I contact them, or should I wait? I'm still within the test window

All online applicants are the experimental mice of IRCC, sadly to say. Paper applicants do not deserve prioritized processing.

Hello Guys.
Need your help. I forgot to add few weeks of unemployment on my online application?
But I did not leave any gaps.
Is this any kind of concern?
Please advise,
Thank you.

I have a question regarding a a friend of mine. She applied for citizenship on paper and her BG was completed almost 2 months back, there has been no update at all since then. She lives in Oakville, ON. She is quite worried. Can anyone please recommend how she can reach her local office? or IRCC? she doesn't know about which local office is dealing her case. I wonder if she should be worried or is this normal? Any suggestions or advice will be very helpful. Thank you.

I would say it's not rare.
My BG was completed on Apr.1. Then the next update to my profile was in early Sep, 5 months after BG completed. I'm paper applicant too.

2 months is not a sign to be worried. Tell her to have patience. No point calling IRCC so soon, they will give predefined answers.

Oh okay. In that case, it is normal. lol. I looked at timelines for BG completed and test invite and many of them were pretty quick. But then again, there are no set rules and every case is different
