I just received a message in my account saying that I need to take a medical exam, knowing that I submitted the proof of the upfront medical exam with my application..

Have you done upfront medicals recently within last 12 months or you uploaded an expired medicals from previous application?

I have done my upfront medical exam in July 2022 - a week before submitting my PR application (with the proof of the exam)

Following this thread...

ITA: July 6
I have 1 year of work experience, but it was an 'all-stream draw' so I guess I'm either CEC or FSW-Inland?
AOR: Sept 2
MEP/BIL: Oct 17

There is a separate thread for Sep AOR candidates too. Also if you qualify for both CEC and FSW you would be invited as a CEC applicant

Yes.. I don't know why. I sent a webform yesterday
If there was missing upfront medical information, your application would have been canceled as incomplete at the R10 stage. Because your UCI and Bio have been updated on your profile and you have been receiving GUs, that's not the case. Medical is usually requested again due to an inconclusive or faulty result from your previous medical, even if you did medicals15 days before your submission. I would recommend doing your medical again without any further delay because they'll definitely reject your application if they don't receive your proof of medical on time. I think you're very close to being finalized, this is just a little hurdle, don't waste your time. GoodLuck!

Thanks for the reply! what do you mean by "inconclusive or faulty result from your previous medical" ?
The medical exams were not properly completed?

I think u can also call ur clinic to confirm this case. They also have visibility over ur medical result.

Happens sometimes. The most common problem is with the x-rays. Did the clinic ask you to wait while they confirm if your x-rays were as per the IRCC requirements. IRCC is very strict in case of x-rays, even a minor deviation from the x-ray centre or blurring is not acceptable. When I did my medical the first time, the clinic asked me to wait for about an hour before they confirmed that everything was OK.

That’s also a good suggestion @jacko1995. But bear in mind, that the clinic will not tell you the outcome of your tests. Also, clinics rarely accept their error. But during this process, you might waste your time. IRCC also extremely rarely makes such requests by error so the chances are that they won’t revoke their original request for medical and you’ll have to do medicals anyway. What’s the deadline. Have they mentioned any reason why? And how they have asked you to submit?
